The pandemic had disproportionately affected the health of many communities and families, especially those who are less fortunate and continually struggle to provide for there loved ones. Many households were faced with job loss or lower incomes which was a mutually experienced consequence of the pandemic.

In partnership with Moonwalk Elementary School in Las Pinas Philippines, the Surrey Filipino Canadian Society had donated food care packages to the local communities. We are so grateful for the many volunteers in the Philippines whom not only gave their time but also opened their hearts to ensure the care packages where distributed.
