When we think of Spring we tend to think of the season and it conjures feelings of rebirth, renewal, rejuvenation, and regrowth. The Spring Season is one of the most favorite times of year for so many as everything in nature becomes active and alive. It’s as if mother nature had given birth to new life all around us. Dormant plants begin to grow again, new seedlings sprout out of the ground, cherry blossoms are in full bloom and hibernating animals awake.

There is often a lot of rain this time of year and as the saying goes “April showers, bring May flowers”. However, as we are now entering May, I noticed that the flowers had started arriving early in April this year. One thing is for sure, we all know that this time of year we begin to experience longer days of sunlight and the temperature is starting to enter the double digits which means warmer weather!

This is the time of year when families start planning summer vacations and camping trips and children look forward to the end of the school year. However, on the other side of the world in the Philippines, it is the transitioning period into the rainy season as we are nearing June. The rainy season in the Philippines stretches from June through to November. It’s no wonder that many people, including the Filipinos, choose to visit Canada in the spring and summer months to enjoy the wonderful weather this time of year.

Whatever your favorite Spring past time maybe, soak up the sun as much as you can because we all know how time flies. Before you know it, you might just be back to shoveling snow. Nhaay!… Lets not think about that 😉
